What is Valorant Game?
Valorant is a new competitive tactical first-person shooter from Riot Games. It is a fast-paced intense and hyper-competitive game blending many elements from other popular FPS games including Counter Strike Global Offensive, Rainbow Six Siege, Overwatch, and more. Valorant emphasizes precise gunplay, tactical thinking, and on the fly decision making in the arena. If you’re a fan of the genre or looking for a new high skill game to learn you should definitely check out Valorant.
Gameplay of Valorant Game?
Valorant is a free-to-play 5v5 competitive shooter game for PC in which two teams alternate between offensive and defensive rounds. The gameplay primarily draws influence from tactical shooters games like CS:GO and Rainbow six siege it places a heavy emphasis on its deep gunplay which demands precision speed and awareness from the player in order to succeed.
Well, Let me take you from the beginning of the game, When you join your first game, you will be asked to select the agent. Agents are the different characters you can play in valorant. Like all other games, Every character or agent in valorant game has a different role and different abilities that are unique. After choosing the agent you need to buy a gun and join the matchmaking. A map is randomly selected before every game and is displayed on the top left.
How to Play Valorant?
Valorant is split up into two phases offense and defense and the match begins as a five-player offense versus five-player defense. Match lasts until one of the team wins thirteen rounds with a maximum of a total of twenty-five rounds. During each round, the team is on the offensive side goal is to bring an item called the spike into the defensive team objective sights and plant it, and thereby the defensive team’s goal is to stop the attackers from planting the spike and defuse the spike. If the spike gets planted and it detonates the attackers will win the round and if time runs out or the spike gets diffused the defenders wins the round, Either the team can also win by wiping out all five members of the opposing team.
The objective of the teams will be swap sides after the halfway mark i.e after 12 rounds so the attackers become the defenders and the defenders become the attackers thereby everyone gets a chance at both offense and defense sides. Each round lasts for 100 seconds and the first team to win 13 rounds in total will wins the match. If the spike is planted the round timer will be set to 45 seconds and if this happens, the attackers have to defend the spike for those forty-five seconds from the defenders and defenders have to defuse the spike within 45 seconds.
The spike takes ten seconds to defuse and the diffusing of the spike is done by the agent holding the key. You need to make a note that while diffusing the agent will not able to shoot any weapons or move, but can still look around with your mouse button. The spike takes ten seconds to defuse, but after five seconds the spike heads to the diffuse checkpoint. And if a player stops defusing, they only have to defuse for another five seconds instead of just starting over at ten seconds.
Gunplay in Valorant Game
Valorant lies in its gunplay the game demands pixel-perfect aiming, quick reactions, and learning the unique recoil patterns for every gun in the game is essential to mastery the recoil system and a perfect hit detection create a challenging blend in the game. All right. So next up, I’m going to discuss the agents of Valorant game. Right now, there are already eleven agents available to play and many more agents will be going release sooner. Depending on the strengths and weaknesses agents are split up into four categories. These classes are Duelist, Initiator, Sentinels, and Controllers. Don’t worry these are the new terms if you don’t know what these mean, I’m going to break it down for every category with a vivid explanation.
Duelists: Duellists are the agents whose abilities really focus on getting kills.
Initiators: Initiators are the next class of agents with abilities to block lines of sight and take aggressive peaks. Initiators are the people who like to support their team and taking wins.
Sentinels: Next class is that sentinels these are the most supportive agents fo the team Sentinel’s abilities mostly are blocking access to areas of the map and tend to have what is considered the most annoying abilities. Their abilities will stop players in their tracks and force enemies to deal with whatever is preventing them from progressing forward.
Controllers: Lastly, we have controllers. Controller agents tend to control the flow of engagement with their specific abilities during fights. This can include, smoking off, deploying toxins that damage an enemy. Controllers can just block the site and deal area of effect damage.
Maps in Valorant Game
Matches are played on what is called a map and as of right now maps are Split, Bind, Haven, and Ascent. At the writing of this article, there might be a lot more than three maps in the game.
Utiliites in Valorant Game
Let’s get into talking about utilities available in valorant game. When you refer a utility in valorant game most actually they talk about the agent’s abilities. However, not all abilities are utilities. Utilities are something that refers to agent abilities to help the team in the matches. Here we go with the list of utilities
Smokes: Smoke is the most common form of utility. And valorant multiple characters have their own version of smokes. These are almost always used to block vision for the enemy team but act differently depending on which agent to deploy them.
Flashes: Another popular form of utility in valorant are flashes or flashbangs. So flashes are something that prevents vision to an enemy but flashes act in a very different way when compared with smokes. Flashes of valorant are normally some sort of projectile that, when detonated, will blind enemies. That means the enemy’s entire screen will literally turn orange where could not spot the enemy. However, the enemy will still be able to hear. When you encountered with the Flash, the best thing you can do is actually just turn away from it. It will drastically reduce the amount of time you’re blinded.
Weapons in Valorant Game
We hope, guys, that, you know, you have at least a basic understanding of what Valiant is about and how it’s played. Next, I’m going to discuss the different weapons of valorant game. On entering match before you can even get a gun, you got to open the Buy menu. You can open the buy menu by pressing hitting the “B” Key. We’re going to discuss how money and economy works a bit later in the video. So don’t worry if you don’t understand why all the guns have different prices.
There are different gun classes i.e SideArm, Shotguns, SMGs, Rifles, and Heavy weapons. You only have three weapon slots and only two that you can actually get weapons for in-game. The first slot is your knife. You will always have access to your knife. Have to try and get the drop on your enemy if all else fails. Next up is your sidearm. You will start every single round with a classic unless you have a better sidearm equipped. If you buy any other Weapons Under the sidearm section that will replace the current sidearm gun And the final slot is for Primary Weapons. Any weapon purchase except the sidearm category will appear in this lot. If you already have a weapon in the slot and purchase a new one, the old one will fall to the ground and will be able to be picked up by teammates or enemies.
Economy in Valorant Game
Alright, I finally think it’s time to talk about the economy of Valorant. The economy of valorant is an excellent opportunity for increasing skills. The players will earn money for completing tasks like killing an enemy, Winning a round, Losing an around, and planting the spike. Once you have collected enough money, you can spend it on the different weapons, shields, or abilities for your agent for that round. Weapons tend to costs the most while Shields and abilities costs were pretty lower in the amounts. The money you gain will depend on your previous round performance or winning.
However, the max amount of money that you can have stored at once is 9000. You could also help your teammates to buy weapons when any of your teammates request the weapon. Requesting weapons can be done by right-clicking on a weapon in the buy menu. When someone requests a weapon all other teammates can spend their credits to buy that person weapon. You can also request a weapon and if your teammates have enough money,
they might end up buying a gun for you. And the most interesting about weapons, shields in the valarant game is that they can carry over into the next round as long as you don’t die. But If you die, you lose everything you bought including weapon shields. However, unused abilities will actually transfer between deaths. So you can have them for the next round even you died in the previous round.
Valorant Pro Settings, Aiming, Recoil Control
Once you have chosen a weapon, it’s time to shoot and kill the enemy. In order to shoot and down the enemy you need to have perfect aiming and spray control. Most weapons in valorant are automatic which means you can fire them until they run out by just holding down Mouse. However, in order the bullet actually hit the target there was a bit more to it than just lining up your crosshair and shooting.
The first thing that is important to realize is to use your Crosshair as a guide, not as a perfect line-up, you know, when a gun is fired in valorant the bullets tend to recoil up to the left and right to counter this movement of the bullet. You have to pull your aim in the opposite direction the bullets will move. This is called recoil control.
To master the aiming and recoil control training is something that should be considered. However, as mention, it is pretty easy to start training just headed to the shooting range and practice until you master it. A very important part of aiming in valorant is something called crosshair placement. Crosshair placement is the understanding of where you should be keeping your Crosshair so that it practically land on an enemy’s head when you come into contact with the Enemy. Headshots are super important in valorant games because they allow you to kill an opponent very quickly.
